Nigeria has become a mockery of itself as a result of greed of some groups who prefer to use their own people against others from different region and religion.
How did we get here?
Nigeria was amalgamated by the British colonialist in 1914 as one entity so as to carry out an administrative duties on it and to mark territory against the French that were encroaching.
Six geopolitical zones were created which include North East, North West, North Central, South East, South South and South West but quest for dominance has made some region to claim to be one and united. They call themselves North Laying claim to North East, North West and North Central and categorizing the other region as south just to prove dominance while they kept carrying out Jihad and terrorizing some disagreeing state to force them to accept the status they have been placed.
How is the world supporting this evil propaganda?
The world recognizes the north as poverty driven state without first defining the reason for high level of poverty in the said Northern Nigeria while sidelining the south that are eager for development.
Religious practices and traditional institutions encourages unlimited procreations just for the numbers and statistics that will favour them Nationally, and aid wise, to gain more sympathy from the United nations that will enter into their pockets for selfish gains. They have no plans for raising a society of progressives.
The Said Southern Nigeria on the other hand are called minority by the world forgetting that these same south were independent nations that was forced together with the North by the colonialists.
The effort made by the south has not received any support for growth speedup rather, the North with it faulty but deliberate idea to keep majority of it people under the poverty scale are daily given preference and interventions which can never yield any result as long as their masters are keen on keeping them on the poverty scale.
It is time for the world leaders to take stock of it interventions in the North and weigh the result to be able to know which approach to handle such cases of deliberate impoverishment of the north by it elite traditional and religious as well as political leaders so as to figure out the level of deception perpetrated by these people.
